With NFL Draft-related activities tying up traffic throughout the Delaware Valley, the Greater Philadelphia Healthcare Partnership hosted its first-ever virtual partner meeting today. Appropriately, the meeting focused on data- and technology-driven solutions to some of the major issues facing regional healthcare employers. Cindy Marselis – principal and founder of Overlook Strategies, a local health data analysis expert, and a long-time GPHP partner – presented data analytics case studies and demos, and walking attendees through the analytic processes to turn raw data into useful, actionable information for healthcare providers.
GPHP partners can take advantage of an exclusive, free “Basic Data Analytics in Excel” online training with Ms. Marselis, previewing some of her training options for your employees. Interested GPHP partners should contact IP Director Susan Thomas (see contact details below).
As usual, the meeting also featured the GPHP Director’s review of quarterly and year-to-date achievements in training, programming and fundraising. Year to date, GPHP has recorded 185 training completions in areas including IV Therapy, CPR and First Aid, Communications, Advanced Nurse Aide, Medical Coding and Workforce Readiness, as well as healthcare Apprenticeship and On-the-Job Training placements. With another quarter of activities still ahead this fiscal year, GPHP is already on pace to best last year’s total training completions, a testament to its continued growth and evolution over nearly 12 years serving the Greater Philadelphia region’s health and human services employers and workforce.
GPHP’s next meeting will at 8:30 AM on July 19th, at the District 1199C Training Fund’s Breslin Learning Center (10th Floor Land Title Building, at 100 South Broad Street), with special guest Amy Cowperthwait of Simucare.
