PHARMACY TECHNICIAN: Four-month course preparing students to assist pharmacists filling prescriptions in care settings including hospitals, community health centers, home infusion and mail order pharmacies.
Offered at Breslin Learning Center; includes clinical assignment.

TELEMETRY TECHNICIAN: Three-month course provides basic theory, knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms in a clinical telemetry setting.
Offered at Breslin Learning Center; includes clinical assignment.

CPR: Half-day program provides basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.

I/V: One-day program provides basic certification in intravenous (I/V) line procedures.
Offered on-site or at Breslin Learning Center.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN: Nine-month certificate program which vets 21 credits at Philadelphia University and entry into Behavioral Health Certificate, Associate and Bachelor Degree programs.

MANAGING DIFFICULT BEHAVIOR: Half- or full-day program provides training in work with mentally impaired patients.

BEST PRACTICES IN DEMENTIA CARE: Skill development for workers in institutional and home care settings; program offered through partnership with Jefferson.

CREATIVE POETRY THERAPY (Dementia): Unique class offers Alzheimer's Poetry Project staff training for healthcare workers and family members in using poetry with dementia​.

BUILDING BRIDGES: 80-hour joint training for Home Health Aides and consumers.
Offered on-site or at Breslin Learning Center.

NURSE AIDE: 152-hour program prepares students for competency examination and placement on Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; customized programs developed for employers on request.

PRE-NURSING: Bridge classes prepare students for admission to Practical Nursing programs.

BASIC HIPAA COMPLIANCE: For healthcare workers' everyday needs.

SAFE PATIENT LIFTING: Practical training for frontline nursing and direct care workers in institutional and home care settings.

INFECTION CONTROL: Half-, full-, or multi-day customized training in Infection Control. Customized training available in other worker/patient safety and health topic areas including Personal Protective Equipment, Ergonomics, Hazard Communication and Root Cause Analysis. SERVSAFE
©: 16-hour program prepares dietary workers, or any worker handling food, food, for National Restaurant Association ServSafe certification exam; nationally-recognized certification is valid for five years.

ARC FLASH: 4-hour OSHA-approved safety course trains building engineers and other employees to work safely and responsibly with high-voltage electrical fixtures.
